 La société Amdipharm me donne deux informations:

1- Le Desernil ne sera pas produit à nouveau par eux avant septembre 2013
2- Une autre compagnie, nommée Alliance Pharmaceuticals, serait susceptible d'en fournir.

Je publierai la réponse d'Alliance Pharmaceuticals, à qui je me suis adressé aujourd'hui et qui ne rouvre que le 2 janvier.

Amdipharm hold the licence for this product in some European countries and I can confirm that there is no stock available at present. Furthermore, due to unforeseen circumstances we are unlikely to have any stock until September 2013.

Sir,

Migraineur, I need a drug which is  produced by Amdipharm, Desernil (Methysergide). The drug is now completely unavailable in France. I have been told by Mr Olivier Bernard, from CSP (Centre spécialités pharmaceutiques) that Amdipharm is reorganizing the production of Desernil.

Could you please tell me how long it may be for your laboratory to reorganize this production? For me and for the other users of Desernil that I know, it is a very hard time that is coming. As you know of course, Desernil is sometimes the last and unique drug for severe migraineurs, and it is very difficult to live without it. It would be a real psychological help to give us detailed news with a date.

I really hope that you will be able to give me some details and, of course, that Amdipharm will be able as quickly as possible to commercialize Desernil again .
